Removing Oxidation from Metal Diamond Plate

Hey guys, Brian here with Limelight Detailing in Eagle, Idaho. And today, I’m working on some diamond plating, trying to remove some of the oxidation that’s been built up on it. Over time, diamond plating and other metal products can just really get a lot of lime and oxidation and that sort of thing. What I’ve done is put on a little bit of application that we use to get the metal shining again and try to remove some of this water damage.
This is a shot of after the product has been put on. And then you can kind of see here, I’ve had some of it sitting. I just want to show you what it looks like after we’ve applied it and then after we remove it, just kind of a quick before and after.
This is afterwards. It really does a good job of just getting a lot of this oxidation and stuff out of here. So a little bit before and after, and that is how we treat our diamond plating in metal.
